How to change the tone of your product update

Releaso has the ability to choose the tone or mood you desire for your product updates. You have the power to pick the tone or mood that perfectly aligns with your vision. Whether you prefer an enthusiastic announcement or a formal update, the decision is entirely up to you.

We offer five tones or modes to help you smoothly express and represent your own identity. Here’s a quick overview of what each of our tones represents:

Neutral: This tone is ideal for being objective and impartial, showing all points of view, and allowing stakeholders to adopt their own opinions and preferences.

Professional: A professional tone maintains a formal and business-like approach. This communication style incorporates technical language while remaining understandable for the stakeholders.

Academic: When it comes to an academic tone, it dives into details with solid explanations and justifications. This tone is perfect for its logical structure and precision.

Enthusiastic: This tone is excellent for keeping stakeholders expectant. It communicates excitement, energy, and positivity. You might even see funny emojis to give it an extra touch of excitement.😉

Serious: This tone represents a formal and respectful environment. It is used for sharing important updates or analyze issues. The language used is considerate and careful.

Now that you know the features of Releaso and the tones we handle, let’s explain how to adjust the tone or mood of your product update with the next step-by-step tutorial.

  1. Locate the Products link in the navigation menu and click on it.

  2. If you already have a product, you’ll see the Config button – go ahead and click on it to access the Settings section of your Product.

  3. In the sidebar locate the Brand Identity section, and click on it.

  4. In this section, under the Content Generation tab, you get to set the tone or mood for your product updates. 

  5. Choose the tone that fits your content best. 

Product Settings

  1. After selecting your ideal tone, enhance your post by including extra elements, such as displaying the ticket number or adding a summary at the start.

  2. Save your changes, and once saved, your upcoming updates will be generated with this chosen tone.
