Embedding Product Updates With Releaso

In today’s digital world, staying informed and connected is crucial, especially when it comes to managing projects or staying updated on the latest developments in your favorite apps. This is where embeds come into play, offering a convenient and efficient way to integrate information directly into your workflow.

Embeds provide a seamless experience that enhances productivity and streamlines communication. For this reason, Releaso has introduced a interesting feature that keeps you in the loop about all the latest developments in your app.

This tutorial will guide you through simple steps to use and give you the best handling of the Embeds feature:

  1. Log in to Releaso app and navigate to the Config page of your product.

  2. In the sidebar menu, locate the Embeds section and click on it.

In this section, you will find all the options that Releaso offers you:

Embeds Section

  • Inline Embed: This is an embedding of content directly into your webpage or application, usually alongside other elements.

  • Floating Widget: This is a small bubble that hovers above the content of your application.

  • Banner Embed: This is a horizontal strip that is prominently displayed at the top or bottom of your webpage or application (usually serving as a reminder).

  • Link Badge: This is a clickable badge that represents a hyperlink to your product updates.

Once you have identified which widget is special for you, you’ll have access to customize the appearance and behavior of the embedded.

  1. You can customize the embed title, body content, and the content to display in each of the embedded widgets.

  2. After customizing the embedded widget, don’t forget to save your changes to apply them to your app.

  3. Now that the embeds are set, it’s time to integrate the embeds in your app. You can do this by adding the code of the Copy HTML button of the selected embed and pasting it into the designated section of your app.

  4. Before going live, take a moment to preview the embed within your app’s interface. Ensure that everything looks and functions as intended.

  5. Once you’re satisfied with the setup, publish the changes to make the embedded visible to your users.
